Ventures
Three, live.
- — Ozikoro Publishing and archive — Igbo and African history, archives and scholarship — town and clan histories, archive photographs and documents, and the work of African researchers.
- — Ozituma Language — A free dictionary of African languages. Words, meanings, pronunciations, names and dialect variants, recorded and defined.
- — OmaPolo Clothing — A polo brand, sold online — the first consumer goods business.
What the company does
Ozikoro publishes Igbo and African history — town and clan histories, archive photographs and documents, and the work of African researchers. Ozituma records and defines African languages, free to read. OmaPolo sells clothing.
The three share a subject: the record of a people, kept accurately and made available. Publishing is the centre of that; the dictionary and the clothing business are how it reaches further and pays for itself.
How we work
Work is published under the company's own name, and every venture trades on its own merits. What is not yet built is not described here — a page that advertises businesses which do not exist makes the ones that do harder to believe.
Enquiries about any of the three ventures can be made through the address on its own site.
